Exhibition: Paul Armand Gette
Currently, the City of Paris Museum of modern Art is holding 4 exhibitions! After having spoken to you about "Medusa. Jewellery and taboos", of "Karel Appel. Art as Celebration", and of "Derain, Balthus, Giacometti. An artistic friendship", it's the turn of "Paul Armand Gette. Un parcours Alicien". This free exhibition presents about twenty works of this artist born in Lyon in 1927. His work deals with symmetry, reflection, mirrors and proportions. His photographic piece "La plage… été 1973" (The beach… summer, 1973) is at the centre of the retrospective. This creation which belongs to the museum was a turning point in art at the beginning of 1970s, testifying of the passage from virtual fiction to reality. This event is available just a few-minute walk away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
Exhibition “Paul Armand Gette. Un parcours alicien”, from May 4th to September 17th, 2017.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10a.m. to 6p.m.
Closed on Monday.
Free entry.
