Exhibition: The spirit of the place
Until July 8th, 2018, the Petit Palais is hosting the photographic exhibition "The spirit of the place". For the occasion, the museum has gathered some hundred pictures depicting the Petit Palais itself. Between 2000 and 2005, during the renovation of the Petit Palais, the photographers entered the art place. Bruno Delamain, Flore, Stéphane Couturier and Hélène Langlois became the privileged spectators of the radical transformation of the site. As soon as it reopened, three other artists, Julien Lescoeur, Jean-Christophe Ballot and Vasco Ascolini immortalised the new Petit Palais. Divided into seven areas, this free exhibition route displays the works of the seven photographers. With their prints, they paint an accurate portrait of one of the architectural jewels of the capital. This event is held just a few metro stations away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
