Exhibition: Grains de génie, de la plage au labo
Through this exhibition entitled “Grains de genie, de la plage au labo” (“Speck of genius, from the beach to the lab”), the Palais de la Découverte proposes twenty interactive physics experiences that test the behaviour of the granular material. Grains of sand are put under the spotlights – as well as earth and clay – either wet or dry. Although they may seem quite ordinary, these tiny grains contain some highly complex physics notions that are here explained to visitors in an instructive six-section exhibition.

Open Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30am to 6pm, on Sunday and bank holidays from 10am to 7pm.
