Exhibition: From Zurbarán to Rothko Alicia Koplowitz Collection
Until July 10th, 2017, the Jacquemart-André museum welcomes a selection of masterpieces of modern and old painters, but also sculptors, created by Alicia Koplowitz - Grupo Omega Capital. 52 works are presented here, pulling us in the universes of Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, Modigliani, Goya, Giacometti, Bourgeois, Richier, or even, De Guardi and Canaletto. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go off to explore styles and techniques, times and the works of these artists over more than thirty years. A central theme comes back in all the works: the woman. She is alternately model, artist, creator or muse, and is present in most of the paintings and the pieces that are exposed. This event is available near the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, in the centre of the 8th arrondissement.
