Exhibition: Carambolages
With “Carambolages”, the Grand Palais invites its visitors to discover the History of Art in a new way. 185 works are presented, all from different countries, times and artistic styles. However, their hanging have been thought in such way to create a domino effect, in which each work lead to the following, either by a combination of forms or ideas. This surprising and well thought staging take us from Giacometi to Man Ray, from Annette Messager to Boucher until Rembrandt. This ludic course frees itself from types and times, to only keep the most important: creation. This beautiful retrospective can be visited a few underground stations from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, on the Champs-Elysées.
