Exhibition: Does the Soul Have a Face?

With its new exhibition, the Maison de Victor Hugo aims at understanding how a novel perpetuates itself in its reader's imagination, and takes the example of "L'homme qui rit" (The Man Who Laughs), a novel about love and rebellion written by Victor Hugo. The show comes back on the fascination generated by monsters in literature, by presenting drawings, engravings, costumes, movie extracts, paintings and photographs, as well as audio recordings.

Exhibition: "Does the Soul Have a Face?", from April 17th from August 31st, 2014.
Every day from 10am to 6pm, except on Monday and public holidays.
Full rate: €7 / Concession: €5 / Free for the under-14s.
