Exhibition: Battements, chemins

At the Galerie Templon, the exhibition "Battements, chemins" focuses of Daniel Dezeuze, and is inspired by Chinese philosophy. By working with "poor" materials, like nets, wire, fabrics, wood and metals, the artist tackles spiritual themes and offers a real contrast and questionning of painting. The exhibition presents various series, such as "Tsimtsoum", made of intertwined, retracted and dilated wood. These works are a reference to the Kabbale. The "Butterfly wings" series, on the other hand, is a tribute to life, through its characteristic chromatic saturations. The exhibition mixes harmony and contrast, thus reminding us of the philosophy of yin and yang.

Exhibition: "Battements, chemins", from September 6th to October 25th 2014.
Open Monday - Saturday from 10am to 7pm.
Free.
