Cityscoot: the connected self-service scooter

Starting June 2015, the Cityscoot startup will put in place its self-service rental system for electric scooters in Paris. Vélib' and Autolib' have inspired this innovative service, to which one can access via the Internet Website or mobile app created specifically, and made available at the start of 2016. With Cityscoot you can decide to start or end the rental in all simplicity, without having to bother using a terminal.

An innovative service
Rewarded by the Centre Francilien de l'Innovation (Ile de France Center for Innovation), these electric Grovers scooters for two are made in Europe. Reliable, safe, light and maneuverable, they can travel 60 to 100 kilometers per hour, and are equipped with a fixed battery, a helmet, a yellow vest and Michelin tires. The launch of this system, praised by the Green Hotels Paris, will begin with a trial phase from June to September 2015, during which 150 Parisian volunteers will have the privilege of evaluating this service as beta testers. The fleet of scooters should rapidly grow, since 1.000 vehicles will be added in 2016, and 2.000 by 2017.
