Family outing in Paris during the holiday season
With the holidays fast approaching, winter-themed activities are flourishing in the Paris’streets. With ice-skating rinks, merry-go-rounds and Christmas markets, the city is completely transformed during a couple of weeks, to the delight of all. We prepared a nice itinerary to do with your family during the holiday season.
The Hôtel de Ville ice-skating rink
Near to the Seine and in front of the Paris Town hall, the Hôtel de Ville ice-skating rink is the perfect place to share a nice family time in a wonderful setting.
The ice-skating rink is open until March 1st 2015.

Christmas markets and merry-go-rounds
During the holiday season, the nicest streets of Paris will host numerous Christmas markets and merry-go-rounds. We particularly enjoy the Marché de Notre-Dame, held in front of the majestic Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, which puts craftsmanship under the spotlight and offers to discover French regional specialties. After that, the colourful merry-go-round on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville will delight the small ones.
The Marché de Noël Paris Notre-Dame is open until December 23rd 2014.
Every day from 10am to 8pm.
Late opening on Friday and on the weekends, until 9pm.

The Grande Roue
Visible from the Champs-Elysées Avenue, the mythical Ferris wheel proudly stands on the Place de la Concorde again. Admire the breath-taking view of Paris from one of its 42 heated gondolas.
The Grande Roue is installed until February 15th 2015.
It is open every day from 11am to midnight, and until 1am on Friday and Saturday.
