The Eiffel Tower’s skating rink makes its comeback
Since last December 1st, the Eiffel Tower’s skating rink is back with surprising activities. This ephemeral ice palace enables the winter sports lovers to give themselves over to the joys of skating, 57meters from the ground, while admiring the panoramic view which the 1st floor of the old iron lady offers. In response to the COP21, which ended last Saturday, a bar made of recyclable materials has been set up near the skating rink, where visitors can taste heart-warming dishes, as the lentils-bacon soup. Three wooden bikes are at the tourists’ disposal, who can warm themselves by enjoying pedalling. Their action enables to intensify the skating rink’s lights. A small wooden Eiffel Tower of 6 meters high, takes centre stage of the area, just to immortalise this magical moment by a selfie with it!

Outstanding activities
This year, the Eiffel Tower’s skating rink proposes new activities. On the programme: children learn how to dance on the ice with “Kids On Ice”, and get acquainted with art, with the painting on ice workshop, following by a delicious snack at the skating rink’s bar. Adults won’t be outdone with “Ice dance floor”, after-work parties which enable them to admire the feats of professional skaters and sway their hips on their skates! At the skating rink’s bar, a warm wine is waiting for the most sensitive to cold or a cup of champagne for the lovers. The fitness enthusiasts are fulfilled with “Matinées toniques”: a coach leads the session with music, to get back into shape before Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. After effort, comes comfort! We let ourselves be tempted by a fresh orange juice and an organic bretzel with seeds.
