Exhibition: Tribus du monde
Until 2nd January 2017, the Musée de l’Homme, located a few minutes walk from Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, is hosting some of French photographer Anne de Vandière's photographs of the tribes of the world. In travelling the globe she has created 500 portraits of men and women from 46 different ethnic groups around the world. The artist leads us from Senegal (in 2009) to Lapland (2015), exploring the lives of these distant peoples. Each print is produced in black and white or traditional film, because for the artist: "There is nothing more beautiful". The photographs she created are all for sale and the tribes receive a significant portion of each sale, thanks to the "Tribu/s du Monde" charity created by Anne de Vandière.
Exhibition "Tribu/s du Monde", from 12th October 2016 to 2nd January 2017.
Open every day, except on Tuesday, from 10a.m. to 6p.m.
Full price: €10 / Concessions: €8 / Free under 26.
