Exhibition: Park In-kyung, Lee Young-Sé
It is in parallel with its exhibition dedicated to the Korean painter Lee Ungno (1904-1989), that ended on November 19th, 2017 that the musée Cernuschi pays tribute to the wife of the artist and to his son. Park In-kyung, born in 1926 and her son, Lee Young-Sé (born in 1956), marked the history of painting with contemporary ink. They participated in the classes of Lee Ungno, at the Académie de peinture orientale de Paris, founded in 1964 by the artist, during his career but also after his demise in 1989. Their works are hung within the permanent collections of the museum so they are freely accessible. They represent more than half a century of creation. It is the opportunity to discover or rediscover these three large-scale painters, but also the pictorial dialogue and researches that can exist between them.
Exhibition “Park In-kyung, Lee Young-Sé”, from September 19th, 2017 to January 7th, 2018.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10a.m. to 6p.m.
Closed on Monday.
