Exhibition: Birth of a Universal Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi
As the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, scheduled for December 2015, is getting closer, the Louvre museum exhibits 160 works acquired by the future museum under the pyramid, in the Napoleon Hall. To discover: paintings by Magritte, Picasso, Manet and Jordaens, but also ancient objects like figures of lion made 3,000 years ago, or a gold fibula incrusted with garnets dating from the Vth century AD.
Exhibition: "Birth of a Universal Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi", from May 2nd to July 28th 2014.
Open every day, except Tuesday, from 9am to 6pm. Late openings on Wednesday and Friday until 9:45pm.
Admission: between €13 and €16.
