Exhibition: Jardins d’exception
Until April 29th 2017, the bookstore-gallery Jardins en Art will expose the photos of the French photographer Jean-Baptiste Leroux on exceptional gardens. About 20 photographs are presented and lead us through the bois des Moutiers in Normandie, in the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte in Seine-et-Marne, as well as in Versailles, but also in the Courances parc in the Essonne and in the Garenne Lemot parc in Loire-Atlantique. The free exhibition also invites us to discover the lands of origin of the photographer, born in Touraine, like the Lude castle. The artist captured life in the most beautiful French gardens thanks to two ancient techniques: the coat and Cibachrome print. This year, Jean-Baptiste Leroux takes part into two main retrospectives, one at the Jardins en Art gallery, and the other at the “Jardins” exhibition in the Grand Palais, from March 15th to July 24th 2017, of which we’ll talk about during the week on the Green Hotels Paris blog.
Exhibition “Jardins d’exception”, from March 9th to April 29th 2017.
Open from Monday to Saturday from 10:30a.m. to 1p.m., and from 2p.m. to 7:30p.m.
Free admission.
