Exhibition: Japon, l’archipel de la maison
The new exhibition of the Parisian Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine is taking an interest in the notion of individual housing in Japan. Divided into three sections, this retrospective is aiming to give historical and contextual point of reference to understand how these living spaces are conceived, for Japanese homes have elicited fascination for long, so much their architecture, halfway between creativity and tradition, is sometimes misunderstood. "Japon, l'archipel de la maison" (Japan, the archipelago of housing) gives visitors the opportunity to take a closer look at town planning and society in general. An event to discover until September 7th 2015, next to the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
