Exhibition: Between the Lines and the Trenches
With the upcoming centenary of World War I, the Musée des Lettres et Manuscrits (museum of letters and manuscripts) in Paris holds an exhibition devoted to historical testimonies from WWI French soldiers, who witnessed barbary. Whether it be the letter of an inlove soldier, that of two angry generals, or even letters written by De Gaulle himself when he was only a captain, these documents enable us to know the moods, thoughts and feelings our ancestors went through during this war.
Exhibition: "Between the Lines and the Trenches - letters, notebooks and photographs", from April 9th to August 31st, 2014.
Open Tuesday - Sunday from 10am to 7pm.
Late opening on Thursday until 9:30pm.
Closed on Monday.
Full rate: €7 / Concession: €5 / Free for under-12s.
Due to the absence of temporary exhibition, all admissions amount to €5.
