Exhibition: Piaf
The Bibliothèque François Mitterrand (BnF) dedicates a vast retrospective to Édith Piaf on the occasion of the centenary of her birth. Through audio recordings, film extracts, magazines, letters, photographs as well as keepsakes, visitors are welcome to discover the key moments in Édith Piaf’s career, as well as her personal life. This great French singer used to wear a small black dress on stage, which contributed to make her a legend. Her lyrics, her refrains, her voice, but most of all the way she sang her songs have made her one of the key figures of French culture throughout the world, therefore becoming an accomplished music hall star.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 7pm.
Closed on Mondays and public holidays.

Monday August 10th, 2015Bonjour Arlette,
Nous sommes ravis que notre article vous ait donné envie de voir l'exposition sur Edith Piaf.
Il nous semble que la chanson dont vous parlez est "Paris 1949".
Très belle journée à vous,
L'équipe des Green Hotels Paris
