Exhibition: Splendeurs des Han
This expected very promising and exhibition, entitled “Wonders of the Hans, rise of the Celestial Empire” begins today at the musée Guimet. It presents a great variety of objects, a majority of which belongs to the funeral tradition. Some of the various paintings, ceramics, lacquerwares, sculptures, bronze statues and reliquaries are lent by provincial Chinese museums; others are from archaeological excavations and will be exhibited for the first time. A beautiful retrospective that will take visitors to the heart of the Han dynasty.
