La Ruche qui dit Oui (the Hive that says Yes) is not only a funny name, it is also a gathering of consumers who buy fresh, seasonal and often organic products, directly from local producers. Local consuming allows them to get local products at a better price, while providing the small producer with a fair fee. The Hive works in an interactive way, since each member compose their own basket of products according to their tastes, and can recommend products to the community. You can fill you basket with fruit and vegetables as well as meat, cheese, bread, seasoning, dried vegetables and yogurts. The Hive that says Yes does not only propose vegetables, such as other similar organisations do. There are currently more than 400 Hives in France, and the figure keeps on growing.
