Eco-friendly and top-of-the-range jeans
Through his partnership with G-Star Raw, Pharrell Williams wants to develop a line of jeans called “RAW for the Oceans”. The jeans will be made of recycled plastic, collected in the oceans and on the shores. This technology is possible thanks to the participation of Bionic Yarn, who also joined the project. The company is making fabrics out of recycled plastic bottles fibers. The jeans will be available in G-Star Raw stores and on the e-shop of the brand from the next August 5th. This fight against worldwide water and coastal pollution is a good opportunity to combine fashion and environment protection.
