The 5th edition of Photoquai takes place at the Eiffel tower


Every two year, the quai Branly museum organise a biennial of world pictures on the occasion of its « Photoquai » festival. This year, from September 22th to November 22th, 2015, the Eiffel Tower associates to the event, and host a new photography produced by each of the 40 photographer non-westerners selected on the occasion of this 5th edition. The photographies are shown on the first floor of the « vieille dame de fer », on the esplanade overhanging the Champs-de-Mars, offering an outstanding view on the capital. This year, the artists must answer to the theme: what is « do family », under the artistic direction of Frank Kalero The printing the visitors will admire stand for different families who constitute humanity. The theme of this « Photoquai » 5th edition appealed to the Eiffel Tower for its worldwide side. Indeed, the most famous Parisian monument can be compared to the Babel Tower, with its almost 7 million yearly visitors, with 85% of foreigner! This retrospective is accessible for all visitors of the Eiffel Tower.

Open every day from 9:30 am to 11:45 pm.
Stairs ticket: Adult: €7 / Young 12-24 years old: €5 / Children 4-11 years old: €3.
Lift ticket (first and second floor): Adult: €11 / Young 12-24 years old: €8,50.
Children from 4 to 11 years old: €4 / Free for the less of 4 years old.
