Ohad Naharin is back at the Théâtre National de Chaillot with “Last Work”
After the success of "Sadeh 21", "Decadance Paris" and " Naharin's Virus", the choreographer Ohad Naharin and his Israeli dance troupe of eighteen dancers, the Batsheva Dance Company, return to the Théâtre National de Chaillot. Created in 1964 in Tel Aviv, the Batsheva Dance Company is now one of the most famous contemporary dance companies in the world. At the head of its artistic direction since 1990, Ohad Naharin composed more than 20 pieces for Batsheva, as well as for other international dance companies also known all over the world. For its new creation, "Last Work", Naharin uses his technique named "gaga" to create a paradox. He alternates between slow and sensual movements with classic connotations, and robotics movements which take us back to the contemporary aspect of the dance. This choreography full of emotion and energy is available just a few-minute walk away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
