La Friche Richard Lenoir: the ecofriendly place to go in the 11th arondissement
From 8th September until 5th November 2016, the 11th arondissement has an ephemeral and dynamic place to go: La Friche Richard Lenoir. This spot aims to be green, designed with recycled materials like large catamaran sails, cans and pallets. Families, tourists and Parisians can enjoy its 2,500m2 of friendly space, and listen to acoustic jazz, folk or classical concerts, from Friday to Sunday. There are lots of activities for visitors: table tennis, petanque, food truck, cork ball pool and slides for youngsters, an educational vegetable garden and table football. There are also workshops, such as the one by the collectif Cycles Urbains where you can learn to repair your bike. Best of all, from Monday to Thursday, the young stand-up talents from the Paname Art Café perform on stage for free.
Open every day from noon to 9p.m.
Free entrance.
