The 5th edition of the Fairpride, the festival for ethics and solidarity initiated by activist distribution network Artisans du Monde, will be held on May 16th 2015 on the Place de la République, in Paris. Organized as part of the 2015 Fairtrade Fortnight, this festival will gather the various organizations stemming from this business sector and will allow visitors to take part in various activities: tastings, food trucks, concerts, shows, dance, fashion shows, or even activities for children... all for free! The Fairpride is first and foremost a festive carnival regrouping the major operators in fair trade (AlterEco, Ethiquable, Guayapi, Max Havelaar) and whose goal is to raise public awareness regarding this exchange system.

The festival for responsible consuming
From crafts to food, from beauty products to fashion, as well as fair tourism, every area is represented to introduce participants to responsible consuming in a fun atmosphere that we, at the Green Hotels Paris, strongly recommend. Committing to a fair lifestyle, consuming differently, traveling responsibly and raising one's awareness through games are the themes that will be approached during the festival through debate cafes, quizzes, games, blind tests, cooking activities, traveling advice, photo exhibitions, or even shows for children.
