Exhibition: The Treasure of the Abbey of Saint Maurice d’Agaune
The Musée du Louvre welcomes an unprecedented retrospective devoted to the eldest Western monastery that is still open nowadays: the Saint Maurice d'Agaune abbey. Located in Switzerland, this abbey was built in 515, on the same site were Saint Maurice was martyred with his companions at the end of the third century. The public can discover around twenty Middle Age jewelry pieces, which recount the story of the abbey's treasure.

Open every day from 9am to 5:45pm. Closed on Tuesday.
Late opening on Wednesday and Friday until 9:45pm.
Admission included in the museum ticket: €12.
Free for the uner-18s and the under-26s from the European Union.
