Exhibition: New Frontier IV, Fastes et fragments
The musée du Louvre presents the fourth and final part of its cycle entitled “New Frontier” and dedicated to American art: “Pomp and Fragments”. This retrospective explores the rise of the still life genre in the 19th century and offers to discover this secluded movement and its singular style. A selection of ten masterpieces by William Michael Harnett, Martin Johnson Heade and Raphaelle Peale is exhibited.

Open every day, except on Tuesday, from 9am to 6pm.
Late opening on Wednesday and Friday until 9:45pm.
Full rate: €12 / Free for under-18s and for European Union citizens under 26.
