Exhibition: The Kama Sutra

Not recommended for the underage, the exhibition at the Pinacothèque de Paris pays tribute to the Kama Sutra, one of the major texts of Hinduism allegedly written by a Brahman in 400 B.C. Sculptures, paintings, books, miniatures and many other works - around 500 overall - will allow you to discover the erotic estheticism characteristic of Hinduism, as well as the Indian culture at the heart of this internationally famous book on which Western people tend to have a biased opinion.

Exhibition: "The Kama Sutra: Spirituality and erotism in Indian art", from  October 2nd 2014 to January 11th 2015.
Open every day from 10:30am to 6:30pm.
Late opening on Wednesday and Friday until 9pm.
Rates: from €12 to €13.50 / Concessions: from €10 to €11.50.
