Exhibition: Ernest Pignon-Ernest
For the Mois de la Photo (“Month of Photography”), the galerie Berthet Aittouarès is presenting an exhibition dedicated to photographer Ernest Pignon-Ernest in partnership with the Maison Européenne de la Photographie. For now more than 30 years, he covers the city walls of the whole world with his ephemeral works. Throughout the years, the urban artist developed his technique, using photography to immortalize his short-lived creations. His work appears as a testimony of history and a sometimes hidden past, as we can see with his series on South Africa and AIDS, or else on the call-boxes and the homeless.
“Ernest Pignon-Ernest” exhibition, from November 13th to December 13th 2014.
Open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am to 1pm, and from 2.30pm to 7pm.
Free entrance.
