Thanks to the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson, Parisians can discover the work of Emmet Gowin, an American photographer little known in France. He began his career with very simple photographs inspired by daily-life scenes: adults in the street, children playing outside, and car drivers. In the late 1960s, Emmet Gowin' divides his work into two different tendencies: family portraits, and coverage of landscapes that have been devastated by men or natural disasters. This exhibition presents 130 photographs, covering 40 years of work by the artist.

Free late opening on Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
