Exhibition: Dalida, her Wardrobe On and Off-Stage
On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the disappearance of the singer Dalida, the Palais Galliera – Museum of Fashion of Paris presents the wardrobe of this fashion icon. Disco look, fifties, theatrical… Dalida dared and wore everything. With her top model measurements and her statuesque body, she could wear anything: New look dresses from the 50s by Carven, glitter suit branded Michel Fresnay, up to the flaming red sheath worthy of the Hollywood glamour created by Jean Dessès. This retrospective pulls us in the everyday life of this great performer, and reminds us to what extent she was a groundbreaking star. No doubt that you will fall in love with the style of Dalida. An event which is available from April 27th to August 13th, 2017, near the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
