Exhibition: “Carte Blanche” to Camille Henrot, “Days are Dogs”

After “Dioramas” and Gareth Nyandoro, the Palais de Tokyo welcomes the Parisian artist Camille Henrot, for its third “Carte Blanche” of the year. With “Days are Dogs”, this artist who lives in New York, in the United States, questions the relationships of authority and the elements that rule human beings’ everyday life. The exhibition is divided into seven sections that correspond to the weekdays. Invented by humans, the week reassures because it allows everyone to have a common framework. At the same time, it alienates seeing as it is linked to constraints and dependences. To support her aim, the artist uses several mediums: sculptures, installations, videos and drawings. A rich retrospective that is to discover just two step away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, at the heart of the 16th arrondissement of the capital.

Exhibition “Carte blanche to Camille Henrot. Days are Dogs”, from 18th October, 2017 to 7th January, 2018.
Open every day, unless on Tuesday, from noon to midnight.
Full price: €12 / Reduce rate: (18-25): €9.
