Exhibition: Art/Africa, le nouvel atelier
With "Art/Africa, le nouvel atelier", the Foundation Louis Vuitton offers a two-for-one exhibition. The first one, "The Insiders", consists of a selection of works from 1989 till 2009, from the collection of African contemporary art of Jean Pigozzi. It is the opportunity to admire the works of Seydou Keita, Chéri Samba, Seni Awa Camara or even, Moke. The second retrospective, "Being There", introduces us to the contemporary scene and to the big names of the South African art. A wide panorama of artists is presented, such as Sue Williamson, David Goldblatt or even Zanele Muholi. This event is available not too far from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, in the 16th arrondissement, and more specifically in a haven of greenery, at the heart of the bois of Boulogne.
