Exhibition: Secrets of Ivory, the Art of the Legas of Central Africa


The new exhibition at the Musée du quai Branly (Quai Branly Museum) presents Lega art, which plays a fundamental role in the eponymous tribe of Democratic Republic of Congo. This art is at the same time a symbol of success, a learning tool and a way to remember the dead. It is one of the major arts in Central Africa.

Exhibition: "Secrets of Ivory, the Art of the Legas of Central Africa", from November 13th 2013 to January 26th 2014.
Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
Late opening Thursday - Saturday until 9pm.
Full rate: €8.50 / Concession: €6.
