Exhibition: Nebay, 29 July 1881

The Wallworks Gallery welcomes the street artist Nebay for its new exhibition, known for having transformed ad posters since the end of the 90s. For this retrospective titled “29 July 1881”, a reference to the freedom of press law where it comes from the myth “Défense d’afficher” the artist retraces these past years on these graffiti streets. This time, he tackles the posters dating from 2014 with the stars like Rihanna or Beyoncé, but also with political subjects of today such as climate change or immigration, the news that really touches the heart. To discover until the end of January 2015.

Exhibition "Nebay - 29 July 1881", from the 5th of December 2014 until the 31st of January 2015.
Open from Monday until Saturday from 2pm until 7pm.
Preview on Thursday the 4th December 2014, from 7pm until 10pm.
Free.
