Exhibition: Marcel Duchamp
Marcel Duchamp is a major figure of the 20th century artistic landscape. His quirky – and sometimes a bit provocative – works remain at the centre of a complex debate: was the artist’s intent to kill or overhaul painting? His creations left nobody indifferent, that is for sure. The Centre Pompidou is paying a tribute to this critical thinker with this full career retrospective and re-reading of his work. Nearly a hundred masterpieces will be exhibited.
“Marcel Duchamp” exhibition, from September 24th 2014 to January 5th 2015.
Open every day, except on Tuesday, from 11am to 9pm.
Full rate: €13 / Reduced rate: €10.
