Until September 15th 2014, the musée Guimet holds a fascinating exhibition about Vietnam, focusing on a fantastic creature: dragon. The exhibition comprises many works representing this legendary animal that is the source of countless stories. It is sometimes associated with Buddhism, sometimes compared to a sovereign. L'Envol du Dragon (The Dragon Flight) invites the visitors to travel through the ages, from the Bronze Age (around 1,500 BC) until the last royal dynasty of the Nguyên in 1945, and to observe the evolution of this mythical creature that crossed millenaries.
