Exhibiton: Corot, le peintre et ses modèles

As of yesterday, le Marmottan Monet museum is paying tribute to one of the precursors of impressionism: Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot (1796-1875). Until July 8th, 2018, about 60 of the painter’s masterpieces will be displayed. They all come from the greatest museums of the world, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York, in the United States, or the Bührle of Zurich, in Switzerland; as well as private collections. It is the opportunity to discover or rediscover this painter of portraits, who immortalised peasants, monks or men in armours on his paintings, always with a keen eye for detail. Enjoy this event, available only two metro stations away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, before heading towards one of the many restaurants of the capital to allow yourself a gourmet break.
