Adidas designs eco-friendly football shoes

The sporting goods manufacturer Adidas continues to combine ecology and innovation. After its running shoes, the brand has decided to use the same spinning process to design a pair of football shoes, the “primeknits”. Thanks to this technology, the sneaker is made of only one piece and composed of 90% of recycled materials. Besides, several pairs can be made out of one piece of fabric, which avoids using unnecessary raw material, and thereby prevents any waste. This new trainer called “Adidas Samba primeknit” will be available in a limited edition in some Adidas shops from March 17th. It should compete with Nike’s Flyknit.
