Batostar: an electro-solar speedboat on the Seine
Vedettes de Paris is going green with the Batostar. Contrary to regular tourist boats, the electro-solar river shuttle is silent and odorless. 55 people can embark on the boat, which works with 50 square meters of solar pannels on its canopy. This systems allows at least 9 hours of autonomy, and avoids using 300 liters of diesel oil every day. The Batostar could thus spare 15 tons of CO2 during summer. This silent and ecological boat can take you on a 40 minutes ride on the Seine, around the Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis. The Batostar takes eight tours per day and has no reason to envy the regular river shuttles. Quite on the contrary, it could be the future of the Seine tourist boats.
Wednesday - Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
From €10.
