Brasserie Auteuil enlivens the west of Paris
Since last July west Paris has been brought a breath of fresh air by the new place to go: Brasserie Auteuil. The restaurant has been renovated by the interior designer, Laura Gonzalez, who is responsible for numerous chic, trendy places in Paris - hotels, clubs, and bars. This affordable urban brasserie, in an old station on the edge of the 16th arrondissement's green belt, is the perfect place to meet family or friends on the weekend. The pointed roof and lanterns help retain the old station's charm. But what stands out the most is the landscaping, by Arôm PARIS - hanging baskets in linen and bamboo, shades of green, white and light wood; and the benches covered with exquisite fabric from Pierre Frey. The best thing? Taking a zen gourmet break on the terrace or rooftop terrace in the heart of the capital.

An Italian inspired menu
The menu has lots of dishes inspired by Italy: pizza, pasta and Pedone's traditionally made ice-cream (mascarpone, almond milk…). Brasserie Auteuil has something for everyone, sea bass tartare, rib of beef, or big salads like the "Auteuil" (buffalo ricotta, green beans, peach, rocket, radish, home preserved cherry tomatoes, hazelnuts, honey and thyme). There are also delicious cocktails, like "Room 447" made with vodka, raspberries, fresh mint, honey and passion fruit juice. Doing a detox? Then try an "Auteuil detox", made from water flavored with cucumber, grapefruit and tarragon. Of course, there is also Italian style lemonade and homemade lemonade to sip while you are playing pool!
