Learn how to recycle with the Fête de la Récup’
For its new edition, the Fête de la Récup’ is coming back at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. Thanks to this event dedicated to recycling and sorting, the public will be able to learn how to recycle during two days, on June 18th and 19th 2016.
Nothing is lost, everything is transformed!
From the fashion show with Les Récupérables to the Freegan Pony’s restaurant, which concocts chef’s dishes from Rungis’s unsold goods, via the bikes made with recycled pieces of Cyclofficine, some specialists will be explaining you how recycling works. When you arrive, take a “waste” from the pile at the entrance, go towards one of the workshops to know how to repair it. If this one can be, good news, it’s yours, on the contrary, we will be initiating you into the mechanisms of planned obsolescence, which complicate reuse. This exhibition both enables to think about our perception of the “waste” but also to find real solutions to bring to the environmental crisis our planet is currently undergoing. A nice initiative welcomed by the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
Fête de la Récup’, from June 18th to 19th 2016. (in French)
