An eco-responsible event
The Fête de la Récup’ aims to be festive, with its parades and fashion shows, but it especially aims to be eco-responsible, by underlining the important of the reuse and the repair. In the face of the depletion our planet’s resources and the obstacles enforced by the planned obsolescence of our everyday life objects, the organizers of the Fête de la Récup’ wish to enlighten the public on the environmental and economic impacts of overconsumption. The participants bring personal and broken or worn out objects (toasters, radios, clothes) to learn to repair them on the spot or to give them a second life. The aim is to avoid at all costs adding to the landfills and increasing pollution. So, head to the Halle des Blancs Manteaux in the Marais this weekend, for this eco-responsible, friendly and family event!
