Exhibition: Tianzhuo Chen
For his first solo exhibition in France, young Chinese artist Tianzhuo Chen has selected the Palais de Tokyo to showcase his work. His kitsch universe draws inspiration from the London rave scene, drugs, LGBT hip hop, Japanese Butoh, the fashion world and, finally, from voguing in New York. He is considered one of the most promising artists of his generation. For this Parisian retrospective, he has put together a collection of hitherto unseen works, mixing painting with performance, video with drawing and installation, incorporating religious symbols into urban subcultures. An event to discover until September 13th 2015 at the Palais de Tokyo, near the Green Hotels Paris.
"Tianzhuo Chen" exhibition, from June 24th to September 13th 2015.
