Exhibition: Lorna Simpson at the Jeu de Paume
It’s within the Jeu de Paume that a retrospective recounting thirty years of Lorna Simpson’s work is held for the first time in Europe. This New York based photographer for who text and images are inseparable, has dedicated her artwork to the representation of black body and also the assertion of African-American identity in Art as well as in medias.
“Lorna Simpson” exhibition, from May 28th to September 1st.
Opened on Wednesday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
Night on Tuesday until 9pm.
Price : 8,50 € / 5,50 € for under 25 years old, students and over 60 years old / Free for under 10 years old.
