Exhibition: La passion selon Carol Rama
For the very first time in France, the musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris (Modern Art Museum of the City of Paris) is exhibiting the work of the Turin-born artist Carol Rama. Although her name is rarely mentioned in Art history, her work ranges through all the great artistic movements of the 20th century – pop art, concrete art, arte povera – yet defies any pigeonholing. Long side-lined by the feminist movement, she explored the body and sexuality through her work, oscillating between figuration and abstraction, and allowing to take a fresh look at the official artistic currents.
“Carol Rama” exhibition, from April 3rd to July 12th 2015.
Open Tuesday-Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
Late opening on Thursdays until 10pm.
Full rate: €7 / Reduced rate: €5 / Free for under-18s.
