Exhibition: La Mémoire Traversée
The Eléphant Paname gallery is exhibiting the works of 26 contemporary French, English, Belgian and German photographers in this retrospective on the theme of memory. For the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War, they put their approach to the battlefield in parallel with recollections of the historical conflict’s last survivors, who have now all passed away. From the Dolomites to the Dardanelles, from Ostend to Basel, these artists who roamed Europe and the 700km-long battlefront encourage us to reflect upon the Great War legacy.
“La mémoire traversée, paysages et visages de la Grande Guerre” exhibition, from October 31st 2014 to January 18th 2015.
Open Tuesday-Sunday from 11am to 7 pm.
Full rate: €9 / Concession: €7.
