Exhibition: Dorian Gaudin
For his first personal exhibition in an art centre, Dorian Gaudin chose the Palais de Tokyo. This French-American artist was born in France, in 1986, but now lives and works in New York. His works of art mainly concern the equipment, and more specifically the engine universe, that he combines with organic elements. Thus, it is possible to admire an animal sculpture or an aeronautic propulsion animated by a single, often chaotic movement. For the record, Dorian Gaudin hasn’t been showing his work to the public for long, because his first personal exhibition was organised in February 2016 in New York, at the Nathalie Karg Gallery. This retrospective is to discover just a block away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, meanwhile the one dedicated to the Japanese artist Taro Izumi.
Exhibition “Dorian Gaudin – Rites and Aftermath”, from February 3rd to May 8th 2017.
Open every day, except on Tuesday, from noon to midnight.
Full rate: €12 / Concessions (under 26): €9 / Free for under 18.
