For its new exhibition from 6th October to 3rd December 2016, Galerie Jardins en Art presents Cédric Pollet's photographs of bark and Thierry Martenon's wood carvings. Both artists pay tribute to the nobility of wood and trees in an exhibition called "Art'bres". This retrospective accompanies the release of two beautiful books by Ulmer Editions, devoted to the sculptor and the photographer. Cédric Pollet, who is also a landscape gardener and botanist, wanted to reveal the beauty of twenty French and English gardens, which were deliberately designed to be photographed in winter. In his studio in the heart of the Chartreuse mountains Thierry Martenon creates abstract forms in ash, maple or spruce. This free exhibition celebrates the work of two nature lovers.
