Exhibition: Camille Pissarro

For the first time in 36 years, Parisians and tourists have the opportunity to discover a monographic exhibition dedicated to Camille Pissarro. Organised at the Marmottan Monet museum from February 23rd to July 2nd 2017, the retrospective presents the first of all impressionists through around 75 paints of the artist. The event traces the life of the painter, from his childhood in the Dutch Antilles to his great series devoted to the cities of Rouen, Le Havre and Paris, made at the end of his life. For the story, Paul Cézanne was the one who called and considered him as “the first of all impressionists”. Besides, Camille Pissaro is one of the founder of the impressionist movement. He is the master of Cézanne and Gauguin, friend of Monet and inspirer of Seurat. An exhibition that can be visited just a few metro stations away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
