Festival Classique au Vert: summer garden of classical music
This year, the Classique au Vert festival celebrates a double centenary: the passing of Debussy and the birth of Leonard Bernstein. In terms of programming, the event features the greatest musicians in American music, with a focus on jazz. From August 11th until September 2nd, 2018, classical music lovers will be able to experience a summer back in time in one of the capital's most beautiful green settings... the Parc Floral de Paris. On their way, they will meet such stars as the French pianist of American origin David Lively, who delivers jazzy and intimist performances, or the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris. The other highlight of the event is the presence of French cellist Henri Demarquette and Italian pianist Vanessa Benelli Mosell. Finally, the Classique au Vert festival also has a stage reserved for amateurs, on which budding musicians can become stars for a day by playing in front of the public!
